Fall/Winter 2018

I am probably going to jump around a little out of order for these first couple posts as we get caught up.

Right now you are 2 and 1/2 and so crazy and silly! But also so sweet. Sometimes I take random days off from work to spend some quality time with either you, Ellie, or both. Here is a picture of us starting one of those days together as twins :)

We have this whole routine for bedtime and naps right now. It starts with rocking you in a chair, singing this song:

"hush little baby dont say a word, daddys gonna buy you a mockingbird.
if that mockingbird dont sing, daddys gonna buy you a diamond ring.
if that diamond ring turns brass daddys gonna buy you a looking glass.
if that looking glass should break, daddys gonna bake you a chocolate cake.
if that chocolate cake is yucky, daddys gonna buy you a rubber ducky.
if that rubber ducky doesnt quack, daddys gonna buy youa  bag of snacks.
if that bag of snakcs is gross. daddys gonna kiss you on your nose."

then i put you in your crib and rub your back, then give you a drink of milk. then you say "hug kiss" and so i pick you up give you a hug and a kiss, then "eyes", "nose", "ears", "mouth"

We do this every time!
